Privacy Policy

Effective July 18, 2026
The short version: your thoughts, words and deeds are yours. Everything you write stays on your device and in your own private iCloud. We run no servers, collect nothing, track nothing, and can read nothing.

What the app stores, and where

Your offerings (the good thoughts, words and deeds you write), your reflections on the teachings, and your settings are stored on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, the same data syncs through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), encrypted in transit and tied to your Apple ID. The developer has no server, no account system, and no technical means of accessing this data. If you are not signed into iCloud, everything simply stays on the device.

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. It makes no network requests except Apple’s own iCloud sync and App Store services. The App Store privacy label for this app is “Data Not Collected.”

Notifications

The optional evening reminder is a local notification, scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. Nothing about it leaves your phone.

Tips

The sandalwood tip jar uses Apple’s in-app purchase system. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details, and no purchase information is transmitted to us. Apple’s own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone — including children.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove synced data from iCloud as well: Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Pendar-e Nik → Delete Data.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Since we collect nothing, there is very little that could change.
