What is Liminal?

Liminal is a hall of doors. Each door opens onto a famous mind — Camus, Nietzsche, Rumi, and others — reconstructed from their writings to think alongside you through short games and conversations. They are simulations for reflection, not real people, and nothing they say is professional advice.

How do free answers and credits work?

Every account includes a number of free live AI answers. When those run out, you can buy a credit pack through Apple’s In-App Purchase to continue. Many of Liminal’s games also work offline, for free, without using a credit.

I bought credits but don’t see them.

Purchases are verified by Apple and then credited to your account on our server — this usually happens within a few seconds. If a purchase doesn’t appear, make sure you’re signed in, reopen the credits screen (which re-checks recent purchases), and check your connection. Restoring a past purchase will never charge or credit you twice. Still stuck? Email us with the approximate date of purchase and we’ll sort it out.

I’m having trouble signing in.

Liminal uses Sign in with Apple. If sign-in fails, check your internet connection and try again. If you used Hide My Email, that’s fine — it works normally. You can also explore much of Liminal as a guest.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open the Account screen in the app and choose to delete your account, or email support@hessamzahedi.com and we’ll do it for you. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed.

Are these the real philosophers?

No. The voices are AI reconstructions written in each thinker’s spirit; they do not reproduce any author’s words verbatim and do not represent the real person.
