What we collect

Nothing. We operate no servers, no databases and no analytics. We cannot see who you are, whether you play, or how you play. We receive no reports of any kind from the app.

Dezh contains no advertising identifier, no tracking SDK, and no third-party libraries. Every framework it uses is Apple’s own. This is declared in the app’s privacy manifest, which lists no collected data types and no tracking.

What the app stores on your device

So the game can remember your progress between sessions, Dezh saves the following locally, using Apple’s standard app storage:

• Progress — chapters cleared, stars, your Farr research, unlocked champions and modes.
• Records — best wave, best scores, achievements earned, and your Ās-Nās chip count.
• An interrupted battle, so you can pick a run back up.
• Your settings — Reduce Motion, the colour-blind aid, sound.

None of this identifies you, and none of it leaves your device except as described below. Deleting the app removes all of it.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress is synced through Apple’s key-value storage so your devices stay in step. This is your private iCloud storage. It is governed by Apple’s privacy policy, and we have no access to it — we cannot read it, and we could not retrieve it if you asked us to.

To stop syncing, turn iCloud Drive off for Dezh in your device settings. The game continues to work exactly as before, saving locally only.

Game Center

Game Center is entirely optional and Dezh plays fully without it. If you are signed in, Apple handles leaderboard scores, achievements and any Court by Post matches you start. Your scores and your Game Center nickname become visible to other players on those leaderboards, which is the point of them.

All of this is Apple’s service, subject to Apple’s privacy policy. We submit a score or an achievement identifier and nothing else — never your name, your device, or anything about you.

Court by Post exchanges only the state of the board. Dezh has no chat and no way to send free text to another player.

Purchases

The tip jar uses Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether a purchase succeeded. We never see your payment details, your name or your address, and we hold no record of your purchases beyond a count of tips kept on your own device.

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Device motion

On iPhone and iPad, the title screen tilts gently as you move the device. This reads the motion sensor live to draw the parallax, and the readings are never recorded, stored or transmitted — they are used for the current frame and discarded.

Children

Dezh is not directed at children under 13, and because it collects nothing, no personal information is knowingly collected from anyone of any age. Parents can restrict Game Center, purchases and iCloud through Apple’s Screen Time controls.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to return, correct or erase. Your data is on your device and in your own iCloud, under your control.

To delete everything: delete the app, and turn off iCloud Drive for Dezh first if you do not want the saved progress to remain in your iCloud account.

Changes

If Dezh ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change. Since the app collects nothing today, any such change would be a significant one, and it would be described here plainly rather than buried.
